Mike Campbell is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Regal Entertainment Group and is Chief Executive Officer of Regal Cinemas Corporation. Mr. Campbell founded Regal Cinemas, Inc. in November 1989, and has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Regal Cinemas, Inc. since its inception. Prior thereto, Mr. Campbell was the Chief Executive Officer of Premiere Cinemas Corporation, which he co-founded in 1982, and served in such capacity until Premiere was sold in October 1989. Mr. Campbell served as Past Chairman of the National Association of Theatre Owners in addition to serving on its Executive Committee of the board of directors.

Mr. Campbell has been honored with the ShowWester Award at the motion picture industry convention and the Show “E” Award.  Variety, the children’s charity of the entertainment industry, honored him with a Humanitarian Award.  Forbes Magazine recognized Mr. Campbell on their list of “Up and Comers of 1994.”  In his hometown Mr. Campbell was named Knoxvillian of the Year by the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation; served on the board of directors for both the Knoxville Zoo and the local Boy Scout Council; and was inducted into the Knoxville Hall of Fame by the Junior Achievement organization.
