NNCC unites the expertise of many of the nation's leading universities through the outreach system of Cooperative Extension. the nation on disabilities in children. This center provides links to
programs, services, educational rights, respond to questions, and much

Founded by Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1938, this charity supported the development of polio vaccines. Since 1958, it has supported the prevention of premature births, birth defects and infant mortality. Its website provides information regarding prenatal care, giving birth, baby care and more.

Action for Healthy Kids (AFHK) is a nationwide initiative dedicated to improving the health and educational performance of children through better nutrition and physical activity in schools. An outgrowth of the 2002 Healthy Schools Summit, AFHK is composed of 51 state teams and a national coordinating and resource group.

Kids Health
KidsHealth is one of the largest sites on the Web providing doctor-approved health information about children from before birth through adolescence. Created by The Nemours Foundation's Center for Children's Health Media, KidsHealth provides families with accurate, up-to-date, and jargon-free health information they can use. KidsHealth has separate areas for kids, teens, and parents - each with its own design, age-appropriate content, and tone. There are literally thousands of in-depth features, articles, animations, games, and resources - all original and all developed by experts in the health of children and teens.
